Colorado dominated Washington with a 13-1 victory powered by four home runs, including Connor Norby's decisive grand slam in the seventh inning. Norby, acquired at the trade deadline, has been exceptional since joining the team. Starter Tanner Gordon was equally impressive, pitching seven innings while allowing just one run in his first career quality start. The Rockies' balanced attack featured seven batters with two hits each.
