Fast friends Red Murdock, Taurean York wait it out as Broncos’ final cuts approach
Two rookie inside linebackers for Denver, Red Murdock and Taurean York, have become close friends since meeting at the East-West Shrine Bowl in January. Both are competing for roster spots ahead of Sunday's final cuts, with Murdock having a slight edge after leading the team in preseason tackles. The Broncos have depth at the position, making neither player a lock to survive the reduction to 53 players.
