Big hit eludes Rockies as Braves win series opener 6-4
Colorado's offense generated plenty of contact but couldn't deliver when it mattered most, stranding ten runners in a 6-4 loss to Atlanta. Rockies pitcher Tomoyuki Sugano struggled with his grip in the humid conditions and surrendered six runs early, while the bullpen kept the team competitive. Despite recording twelve hits, Colorado managed just one with runners in scoring position.
